Description
The Peking Opera Vest, a wearable musical instrument, features 3D-printed fabric comprising both conductive PLA and regular PLA for an interactive interface. The flexible structure consists of small triangles, some printed with conductive PLA. Touching the conductive PLA on the hem alters capacitance, producing diverse sounds. In the implementation, conductive PLA is employed to print circuits into the 3D fabric, connecting directly to a computer via USB.
